Rashidabad is the city of hope, where a dream is coming true. It owes its birth to the vision of a ghazi father and a shaheed son. Located on the Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas road near Tando Allahyar, the project spreads over 100 acres of beautiful fertile land. Lt. Gen. Moinuddin Haider, Governor Sindh laid the foundation stone on 13th December, 1998. The city houses schools, residence units, healthcare facilities, a vocational training centre, recreational facilities, a mosque and an artificial lake.

Much effort has been made to beautify the city and make it environmentally-friendly.
